Meet the Chef
Chef Golda Sumpon is the creative force behind Ollio Foods and pays careful attention to detail to make sure that our customers get the highest quality at all times. From setting menus to selecting premium ingredients and then to the final presentation, Chef Sumpon is very passionate about delighting our customers.
Ollio means "a dish of many ingredients" and we want to bring you the best of every menu item we offer!
Today, Ollio has a popular booth at the Frisco Fresh Market, where we offer macarons and chocolate truffles with plans of offering many more items eventually.
Chef Sumpon started her career with obtaining her Bachelors degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics and Masters in Business Administration. After spending more than 20 years in the IT field, working for tech giants while rising to the ranks of senior executives, Chef Sumpon had the opportunity to travel globally extensively.
Always a foodie at heart, during these travels, she was able to experience the culinary traditions across the globe which reinforced a lifelong passion to learn not only how to prepare food but also the science behind food that comes together with many ingredients. Chef Sumpon did not look back after deciding to leave the IT industry to attend culinary school to pursue a formal education in culinary arts, pastry arts and hospitality management.
She enrolled in the grueling degree programs at the Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Education at Collin College in Frisco TX. Chef Sumpon graduated with 4.0 GPA with degrees accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) in three disciplines - Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts and Hospitality Management (with a specialization in Restaurant Management).
Chef Sumpon established Ollio Foods to share her passion for good food and bring joy to her customers through her lovingly hand-crafted creations.
